§ Legal
Terms
In effect from 1 November 2026
01About these terms
These terms are the agreement between Aussify IT Pty Ltd (ABN 80 703 530 410), which makes Perch HQ (“we”, “us”), and the league, association, club or other organisation that uses Perch HQ (“you”). The person who signs up accepts them for the organisation and confirms they may do so.
Perch HQ is the online service at app.perchhq.com.au, with the league and club websites it runs. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
02Your account
Your organisation chooses its administrators, and they choose who else gets a login and what each person can see and do. You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping logins to the person they belong to, and for removing access when someone leaves a role. Tell us straight away if you think a login has been misused.
A league on Perch HQ can bring its clubs in. Each club then holds its own account inside the league, keeps its own records, and decides what it shares back up.
03Your subscription and payment
The price is the one on our pricing page when you subscribe, in Australian dollars. A league or association pays one price however many clubs it has, and every club inside it uses Perch HQ at no charge while the league’s subscription is active. A club whose league is not on Perch HQ subscribes on its own.
You choose monthly or yearly. Each period is charged in advance to the card you give us, through our payment provider, Stripe, and renews automatically until you end it. If a payment fails, we let your administrators know and try again; if it still cannot be paid, we may pause the account until it is.
If we change a price, we tell your administrators by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, and the new price applies from that renewal.
04Your data
What your organisation puts into Perch HQ stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you allow, only to provide Perch HQ to you and support you, as our privacy policy describes. Your data is kept in Australia.
You are responsible for having the right to keep the information you put in, including members’ and juniors’ details, and for the permits, policies and checks your organisation needs, such as raffle permits, working with children checks and child safety obligations. Perch HQ keeps the records; your organisation keeps the obligations.
You can export your records at any time from the screens that offer it, and on request we give you a copy of your organisation’s records in a common format.
05Using Perch HQ
Use Perch HQ for running your organisation, lawfully and with care for the people in it. Please keep within these lines: send email only to people who expect to hear from your organisation; upload only content you have the right to share; leave other organisations’ records, our systems and other people’s logins alone; and use no automated tools to load, copy or test Perch HQ beyond its normal screens and exports.
We look after Perch HQ carefully and work to keep it available, though we can give no promise that it will always be free of interruption or error. When we need planned maintenance, we choose quiet times. We improve Perch HQ continually, and if we ever remove a feature you rely on, we tell your administrators first.
Support is by our contact form and by email, and a person answers.
06Ending a subscription
You can end your subscription at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then stops renewing. Periods already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
We may end or pause an account that is unpaid, or that is used against these terms or the law, after telling your administrators and giving a fair chance to fix it where the problem allows.
After an account ends, we keep its records for 90 days so you can come back or ask us for a copy, and then delete them. When a league’s subscription ends, each of its clubs can keep going by subscribing on its own.
07Liability
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a failure to meet a guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost opportunities.
08Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When a change matters to how you use Perch HQ, we email your administrators at least 30 days before it takes effect; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use Perch HQ after that date means you accept the change, and you can end your subscription before then if you prefer.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and both of us accept the courts of Victoria.
